Introduction:
In line with our corporate vision and repositioning agenda to continue to be a leader in the rural banking industry, the above vacancy is available. Applications are invited from suitably qualified persons to be part of an enthusiastic team;
Job Functions:
- Responsible for the review and approval of commercial credit proposals of the bank and to maintain a good balance between returns and risks exposure
- Preparation of monthly, quarterly, bi-annually and annual credit prudential and management information returns
- To act in the absence of the Head of Credit
- To be assigned with any specialised credit function
Salary: Commensurate with experience and salary history, but very attractive
Required Skills or Experience
- Degree in Accounting, Finance or related disciplines preferably with other professional qualifications
- Five (5) years Banking Experience with at least two (2) years in lending or related activities; experience in marketing is a definite advantage
- Credit evaluation experience with complex credits and business capital structuring are added advantage
- Excellent Communication, interpersonal and quantitative analytical skills
- Innovative and Proactive
- Diligence, knowledge of SMEs, Multitasking and Prioritisation skills
Character:
- Exhibition of high sense of integrity and high level of commitment and professionalism
