Job Description

Duties:

  • To ensure compliance with environmental standards in the Mineral Sector through environmental inspection with the aim to reducing dangers, disturbing effects and nuisances of mining and processing activities to acceptable levels.

Required Skills or Experience

The prospective candidate must:

  • Be a Ghanaian citizen of at least thirty (30) years of age;
  • Possess a degree (of a graduate) in chemical, biochemical, mineral processing or environmental engineering, or other relevant technical area from a University, or its equivalent; 
  • Have not less than 5 years Professional and Industrial experience;
  • Have experience in the relevant areas in Mining Operations within Ghana;
  • Be thoroughly familiar with the technical area required as well as
    • with Laws, Regulations and Standards applicable in the Mining Sector
    • Mining Operations in Ghana
