Role Summary:
The Parts and Service Sales Representative will be responsible for parts sales, service jobs, equipment evaluation, and liaising with parts and service departments and the client.
Responsibilities:
The Successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Inspecting, monitoring and providing technical report on equipments, to clients and appropriate supervisors.
- Proposals, quotes, and closing deals on parts sales and service business.
- Providing reports on market opportunities, trading trends and concerns affecting the parts sales and service business.
- Drawing up clients' service and account maintenance call schedules and strategies to prepare reports on sales and service goals.
- Coordinating and monitoring subcontractors' activities engaged by the company.
- Maintaining all sales demonstration tools and applications.
- Sales presentation on company activities, industry trends and government regulation.
- Maintaining safe environmental practices.
Required Skills or Experience
Qualifications and Skills
As the successful candidate, it is essential that you possess the following skills and experience:
- Minimum of Higher National Diploma (HND) in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum of five (5) years relevant work experience in the construction and mining industry.
- Good knowledge in mechanics and hydraulic of earth moving equipment.
- Excellent customer relation, negotiation and persuasion skills.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to take initiative, be innovative and work both independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office software; MS Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ready to travel at least 25% of the time.
- Must possess a valid Ghanaian Driver's License and able to drive.
