CSR Developments Ghana Limited (CSRD), a member of the TRITON LOGGING GROUP, has graduate engineering positions/jobs in Ghana to recruit Planning Technician. We have an Agreement with the Government of Ghana to harvest, process and market timber submerged in the Volta Lake. Formed in 1965 with the construction of the Akosombo dam, Volta Lake is the largest man-made lake in the world, with a surface of 8,515 square kilometers (3,861 square miles). Brief Description of Responsibilities: Collection of field data using Multi-beam and Imaging sonar equipment Collection of various types of environmental monitoring data Processing various forms of hydrographic survey data Creation of maps and databases associated with hydrographic surveying Plan and participate in extended field assignments on the Volta Lake Creating and updating harvest plans and schedules Required Skills or Experience Technical Skills/Background: A degree in Geomatic Engineering or Natural Resource Management 1-3 years working experience Experience using ArcGIS, experience with Autocad and Microsoft Access also considered an asset Working knowledge of the Ghanaian forest industry including forest inventory assessments and harvest scheduling Strong Excel skills Boating experience is an asset Extended trips will be required around Volta Lake by boat and vehicle How To Apply Interested applicants should submit applications to:hr@csrdevelopments.com by  indicating Planning Technician in the subject line of the email.
